INSME signed a MoU with WTA

On 25th June 2010, in Rome, the INSME Secretary General, Ms. Simona Marzetti, met with Prof. Deog-Seong Oh, Secretary General of the World Technopolis Association - WTA and Mr. Insup Yeom, Program Manager, from the WTA Secretariat.


On this occasion, they signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed to reinforce  international cooperation between INSME and WTA in a spirit of friendly and open partnership, by mutually exchanging free Associated Membership so as to provide more benefits to their members worldwide. 

The next 7th WTA General Assembly and International Conference on "Science City's  Sustainable Development in the Era of Global Climate Change" will take place on September 1-4, 2010, in Hsinchu City, Chinese Taipei. 

On October 10-12, WTA will organise the 7th WTA Daejeon Hi-Tech Fair on "Green Business and Regional Economic Growth", in Daejeon, Korea.

 European Enterprise Awards 2011

Aim: identify and recognise the most successful promoters of enterprise and entrepreneurship around Europe, showcase best entrepreneurship policies and practices, raise awareness of the added value of entrepreneurship, and encourage and inspire potential entrepreneurs.

Participants: National, regional or local authorities or public-private partnerships from all EU Member States including Norway, Serbia and Turkey

Economic research services - European Innovation Scoreboard 2011-2012

Call for Tender No: 14/PP/ENT/CIP/10/C/N01C03

Aim: Prepare analytical reports related to innovation performance at national level and other related aspects, in particular, innovation in the public sector. The reports will help innovation policy making at the regional, national and European levels.

The 8^th call for trans-national projects of the ERA-NET EraSME initiative is open until September 30, 2010 with 7 participating funding programs from the following regions/countries: Austria, Flanders (Belgium), Czech Republic, Germany, Iceland,  Norway, Madrid (Spain).
The call aims to strengthen the competitive capacity of SMEs by enhancing cooperation proposals in all fields of technology.

The International Network for Small and Medium sized Enterprises (INSME) is a non for profit Association that promotes transnational cooperation and public-private partnership for  innovation in SMEs, involving  main stakeholders dealing with competitiveness issues: governmental bodies, international organisations, business support intermediaries and their associations/networks at subnational, national, regional and international level. The Network comprises at present 79 members based in 32 countries in 5 continents.
