The INSME Secretariat is located in Rome.
It is responsible for the following activities:

Institutional aspects and INSME Member relations
This area is involved in the promotion of INSME at institutional level and the maintenance of close relationships with INSME Members. This is done through personal relations, the INSME website, participation at international meetings and conferences and also through bilateral meetings with interested organisations.

INSME services
This area is involved in the ideation, design and implementation of the standard and tailored services dedicated to the INSME Members.

INSME pilot projects
This area is involved in the creation, assessment and management of initiatives focused on innovative practices, on new projects or on new potential future INSME services.

INSME portal
This area is involved in the design and updating of the INSME Portal, including the editing of the monthly newsletter (INSMEnews).

Marketing, promotion, communication (partners & sponsors)
This area is involved in designing the marketing and promotion campaign for INSME and in finding potential partners and sponsors in the private and public sector for the INSME Association.
